Taste and use
Salty and mild, with turmeric and curry leaf in the background and very little chilli. The quietest mix here – meant as a base, not as finished seasoning. It is right when the puffed rice crackles.
About this product
Half puffed rice, a quarter chickpea-flour sev, and only one per cent seasoning. The plainest mix on this shelf and the base for everything else: add onion, tomato, lime and two chutneys and you have bhelpuri. For four plates allow around 60 g.

Balaji Wafers belongs to the Virani family in Rajkot, Gujarat, and has carried that name since 1981. From Balaji we stock sev, khakhra crackers and snack mixes.
