Taste and use
Very sweet and milky; skimmed milk powder makes up 35 per cent of the mix. How sweet the result turns out is decided by the sugar syrup, because the balls draw it in.

Gulab jamun are fried dough balls set into sugar syrup, which they soak up. The mix is 49 per cent wheat flour and 35 per cent skimmed milk powder; water turns it into a dough that is rolled into balls and deep-fried. The box states 40 pieces from 200 grams.
