Taste and use
Sweet and floral, shaped by the rose and kewra distillates. The bottle calls it the summer drink of the East; diluted it makes a cold, red drink.
About this product
A beverage syrup from Pakistan, described on the bottle as a base syrup for drinks. Besides sugar and water the ingredient list names four distillates, among them rose and kewra, the distillate of the screw pine blossom. 39 millilitres of syrup with 270 millilitres of ice-cold water, or with milk and ice cubes, make one glass. The bottle holds 800 millilitres.

Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Pakistan is based in Karachi and began in 1948 with a small practice, a matab, in Aram Bagh. From Hamdard we stock Rooh Afza drink syrup.
