Taste and use
Flavourless on their own, with a soft, slightly chewy centre. Not hot. They are right when no hard spot is left in the core and they fall apart when fried rather than sticking.
About this product
Tapioca pearls in the medium grade, the standard size for sabudana khichdi. They need longer in water than the small ones but stay separate when fried instead of turning to mush. Soak four to five hours, better overnight. 100 g dry makes two portions; the pack covers about ten.
