Taste and use
Salty, with a dry soy note in the finish, stronger than the chickpea note of sev. They are right when they break loudly; softened ones have drawn moisture.
About this product
Thin fried sticks of soy flour and chickpea flour, salted and spiced – five ingredients, no more. They are firmer than gathiya and harder than sev, and they need no dish: eaten by hand, with tea or in between. For four people allow around 60 g.
About Kemchho
Kemchho covers fried savouries as eaten with tea in Maharashtra and Gujarat: chakli, bhakarwadi, chavana. They are brought to Germany by Global Foods Trading in Biebesheim.
