Taste and use
Once fried they are airy and almost neutral, lightly salted; they carry whatever sits next to them. If they stay hard and glassy, the oil was not hot enough.
About this product
Hard, uncooked pellets, and nothing more: the ingredient list states wheat flour, rice flour and salt. As they come in the pack they cannot be eaten. In hot oil they puff up within seconds and turn crisp. After that they go alongside dal and rice, or serve as a snack with tea.
