Taste and use
Once fried they are airy and mild, barely seasoned; the salt is in the dough. If they do not puff and stay glassy, the oil was too cool.
About this product
Long, coloured tubes of wheat, rice and corn flour with tapioca starch, uncooked and hard. They go into hot oil and puff up within seconds, then they are light and crisp. In India they sit alongside dal and rice or on the table as a snack. Without frying they stay hard.
