Taste and use
Clearly of coconut, even after heating. The coconut note stays noticeable in the finished dish; if you do not want it, use a neutral oil rather than a smaller amount.
About this product
Coconut oil, with nothing added: the ingredient list names coconut oil alone. It is a frying fat and is heated like any other oil, for curry leaves and mustard seeds at the start of a dish. Stored cool, coconut oil turns solid and white; that is not a fault, it turns clear and liquid again when warmed.
