Taste and use
Plainly sweet, with a milky note and little salt. Dry and hard to the bite, not short. Only in hot tea does it soften, and that is exactly what it is built for.
About this product
A thin, hard tea biscuit of wheat flour with sugar, invert sugar syrup and milk powder. It is baked hard and softens in hot chai rather than breaking apart at once; that is how it is eaten with tea in India. Ready to eat, no preparation. The family pack holds 800 grams, the same biscuits come as Gold in the one-kilo pack.
About Parle
Mohanlal Dayal founded the House of Parle in 1928; the first factory started in 1929 in the Mumbai district of Vile Parle with twelve people. From Parle we stock two Parle-G and Krack Jack.
