Taste and use
Sweet with a milky note, dry and hard to the bite. As with plain Parle-G the flavour only opens up once the biscuit softens in hot tea.
About this product
The Gold version of Parle-G, in the one-kilo pack. Here the ingredient list gives shares: 63.5 per cent wheat flour and one per cent skimmed milk, plus palm oil and glucose-fructose syrup. It is the same thin, hard tea biscuit for dipping in chai, ready to eat and needing no preparation.
About Parle
Mohanlal Dayal founded the House of Parle in 1928; the first factory started in 1929 in the Mumbai district of Vile Parle with twelve people. From Parle we stock two Parle-G and Krack Jack.
