Taste and use
Almost flavourless, faintly grainy, salted only. Not hot. It takes on whatever it is mixed with. It is right when it crackles dry; if it bends, the pack has been open too long.
About this product
Puffed rice grains with salt, nothing else. In Bangladesh it is called mamra or muri and is not a snack but a staple: at breakfast with milk and jaggery, as jhalmuri with mustard oil, onion and chilli, or as bhelpuri. For four portions of jhalmuri allow around 100 g; the pack covers five rounds.
