Taste and use
The flakes taste of little on their own and take on lemon, chilli and coriander. Left under water too long they fall apart – rinsing here really means only rinsing.
About this product
Poha is rice that has been steamed, rolled flat and dried. The medium grade is the usual one for kanda poha, the breakfast with onion, turmeric and mustard seed: rinse briefly, drain, let it swell for five to ten minutes, then warm it through in the pan. Nothing is boiled. 1 kg.
