Taste and use
Mildly nutty and slightly sweet, with no bitterness. Not hot. It roasts faster than the natural kind and is done at pale gold; waiting for brown takes it too far.
About this product
Sesame with the hull removed, white and softer than the natural kind. Without the hull the bitter edge is gone, but it keeps less well. It goes over naan and bread rolls, into til ladoo and into tahini for hummus. One to two tablespoons cover four portions; one tablespoon tops four naan.
