Taste and use

Pungent and sharp, garlic in front and the bite of ginger behind it. Salt follows the two directly in the ingredient list; the paste is salted, not neutral.

About this product

Garlic at 48 per cent and ginger at 44 per cent, finely ground, with salt, sunflower oil and citric acid. Garlic comes first, so the paste leans towards garlic rather than being half and half. It replaces peeling and grating garlic and ginger for a curry. The tub holds 1 kilogram.
