Taste and use
Rinse briefly, drain and let it swell for five to ten minutes; thick flakes tend to need more of that rather than less. After that they go into the pan; nothing is boiled here either.
About this product
The thick grade of poha: steamed, flattened rice grains, sturdier than the medium and the thin. It stands up to water better and stays loose after swelling instead of falling apart – alongside the medium grade it is therefore the one for kanda poha and for dishes that go on cooking in the pan. 1 kg.
