Taste and use
Woody in aroma and taste, as the pack puts it. In pilau rice, turmeric is used above all for its golden yellow colour.
About this product
Ground turmeric, with nothing else on the ingredient list. The pack names its use and its effect in the dish: haldi gives dals, vegetables, meat, poultry and fish their aroma, turns pilau rice golden yellow and is a basic ingredient of curry powder. The pack asks for the powder to be cooked before eating. Available in 100 grams, 400 grams and 1 kilogram.
