Taste and use
Hot, sour and salty, with the sulphurous note of black salt and sharp ajowan behind it. The heat is noticeable but short. They are right when they splinter rather than bend.
About this product
Chickpeas, pressed flat and seasoned with chilli, dried mango, ajowan, ginger and black salt. The chickpea makes up 69 per cent. A north Indian street snack eaten from the bag; with onion, tomato and lime it becomes a chaat in two minutes. For four portions allow around 60 g.

Balaji Wafers belongs to the Virani family in Rajkot, Gujarat, and has carried that name since 1981. From Balaji we stock sev, khakhra crackers and snack mixes.
