Taste and use
Sweet at the start, hot in the finish, salty in between, with sesame and fennel behind it. The heat is clear and lingers. For something milder, take the khatta mitha mix.
About this product
Tikha means hot, mitha means sweet – eleven per cent sugar against four per cent spice, in the same handful. Plus sev, rice flakes, peanuts, split chickpeas, corn flakes and green peas. It is the hotter sister of the khatta mitha mix, which is built on sour instead of hot. Around 80 g for four people.
About Balaji
Balaji Wafers belongs to the Virani family in Rajkot, Gujarat, and has carried that name since 1981. From Balaji we stock sev, khakhra crackers and snack mixes.
