Taste and use
Basmati gives off a faintly nutty scent while cooking; that is what sets it apart from neutral long-grain rice. Rinse it thoroughly first and the grains will stay separate while cooking.
About this product
White basmati rice in a 10 kg sack, the size for households that cook rice often. Basmati is a long-grain rice that grows noticeably longer as it cooks and whose grains stay separate – the base for biryani, pulao and any curry served with rice. The ingredient list names basmati rice and nothing else.
