Taste and use
Mild: apart from salt and fenugreek powder the ingredient list carries nothing that seasons. The pancake should turn out thin and golden brown, which Gits describes as similar to a pancake; the batter is spread thinly across the hot pan.
About this product
Dosa is a thin, crisply baked pancake from South India. Traditionally the batter of rice and urad lentils is fermented; this instant mix is stirred with water alone. Rice flour makes up 57 per cent, followed by lentil flour, corn flour and semolina. Gits states that the 200 gram pack makes eight dosas.
