Taste and use
Salty and earthy, stronger than classic sev – the moth bean makes the difference. It is right when the strands stay separate and break when bitten.
About this product
Very fine fried strands of chickpea flour and moth bean flour (moth dal). The moth bean makes bhujia earthier and firmer than ordinary sev; the method comes from Bikaner in Rajasthan. It sits over chaat, over poha, in every snack mix. For four plates allow around 30 g.
About Haldiram's
Haldiram's began as a namkeen shop in Bikaner; in 1970 the founder's grandson moved the business to Nagpur and opened its first factory. We stock savouries and sweets.
