Taste and use
Up to a tenth in the dough, it cannot be picked out by taste. An earlier study by the same research group tested 8 to 40 per cent: the panel accepted the chapatis up to 24 per cent, but not above.
About this product
Flour made from soybeans, 100 per cent soya according to the ingredient list. For soya roti it is kneaded into a dough with wheat flour (atta). In a study from Pakistan, a tenth of soya flour in the dough changed neither the taste nor the look of chapatis, as judged by a tasting panel. A tenth means 100 grams of soya flour to 900 grams of atta; the pack holds 1 kilogram.
