Taste and use
The ball itself is neutral and crisp. The seasoning is in the water: sour from mango powder, sulphurous from black salt, cool from mint.
About this product
Uncooked dough discs of wheat flour, corn and tapioca starch and rice flour, plus a spice blend with mango powder, cumin, black salt, asafoetida, mint and clove. The pack states plainly: cook before consumption. The discs go into hot oil and puff into hollow balls, the blend is stirred into water.
