Taste and use
Sweet first, then sour, with the sulphurous note of black salt and little heat. Anyone expecting only sourness meets the sweetness first: sugar is the first ingredient.
About this product
A sweet-sour chutney of sugar (26 per cent) and tamarind (25 per cent), seasoned with cumin, black salt and red chilli. Sugar comes before tamarind: the chutney tastes sweeter than sour. It goes onto the plate cold, as a sauce for fried snacks. The bottle holds 370 grams.
