Taste and use
Sweetly warm from fennel, cinnamon and cardamom, with the heat of ginger and black pepper behind. The ingredient list contains neither chilli nor salt nor sugar.
About this product
A tea spice blend for masala chai. It goes into the boiling water together with the tea leaves, or into the warm milk before it boils; milk and sugar to taste. The pack states one gram per cup, which is 35 cups from the box. Fennel and ginger come first.
About MDH
MDH stands for Mahashian Di Hatti, the Gulati family spice shop from Sialkot, reopened in Delhi after partition in 1947. The company is based in Gurgaon today.
