Taste and use
Warm and pungent from nigella and brown cardamom. The red chilli sits behind paprika and salt, so the heat is not the first thing you taste. Unlike the MDH blends, it contains cane sugar.
About this product
Spice mix for chicken biryani, the layered rice dish with chicken; the pack calls it a seasoning mix for chicken layered pilaf. Paprika comes first in the ingredient list and gives the colour, red chilli only third. Behind them come nigella, star anise, cinnamon and brown cardamom.
