Taste and use
Warm and sweetly woody, with fennel and anise as a note of its own. The heat comes from black pepper and ginger, not from chilli: the ingredient list has none.
About this product
Garam masala literally means warm spices and refers to cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and pepper, not to heat. This blend contains neither chilli nor salt. As a ground blend it goes in shortly before the end, not at the start into hot oil as whole spices do. It comes in 400 grams and one kilo.
