Taste and use
Salty and spiced, with mild chilli heat, cinnamon and cardamom, plus the sour note of mango powder. It is right when the pearls stay separate and snap when bitten.
About this product
Small round chickpea-flour pearls, as in Haldiram's salted boondi, plus two per cent spice and mango powder. That makes them a snack from the bowl and a stronger topping: over chaat, over dahi vada, over a lentil soup. For raita take the salted kind instead, or the spicing covers the yoghurt. Around 50 g for four people.

Haldiram's began as a namkeen shop in Bikaner; in 1970 the founder's grandson moved the business to Nagpur and opened its first factory. We stock savouries and sweets.
