Taste and use
Robust and earthy, with the bitter pull of fenugreek leaves. Chilli comes second in the ingredient list, right behind coriander: the blend is distinctly hot.
About this product
Spice blend for chicken curry with onions, tomatoes and yoghurt. Coriander carries the blend, turmeric gives the colour, fenugreek leaves the faintly bitter base note. The pack states 15 grams to one kilo of chicken, so the 100 gram box covers six dishes.
About MDH
MDH stands for Mahashian Di Hatti, the Gulati family spice shop from Sialkot, reopened in Delhi after partition in 1947. The company is based in Gurgaon today.
