Naan

Leavened flatbread from the Tandoor

Also known as

Naan-Brot

Naan is a soft, lightly leavened flatbread traditionally baked against the inner wall of a Tandoor clay oven. Unlike Chapati or Roti, the dough contains yeast or yogurt and sometimes milk or egg, making Naan fluffier and richer. Variants include Butter Naan, Garlic Naan and Peshawari Naan with nut filling. We carry the flours and spices needed for preparing Naan at home.
